THESSALY, Koinon of Thessaly. Divus Augustus. Died AD 14. Æ Tetrassarion (29mm, 19.47 g, 7h). Lykoutos, strategos. Struck under Tiberius. Radiate head left / [Σ]TPATHΓOY ΛY–KOYTO[Y], Apollo Aktios standing left, holding plektron and kithara; monogram to left. Burrer Em. 1 (of Tiberius), Series 1, 1 corr. (A1/R1 – head left, not right); RPC I 1430; BCD Thessaly II 920 (but monogram removed from left field). Brown patina, roughness. Good Fine.
